The inception of Cobblestone Development, Inc. centered around its foundation of creating quality lifestyle units for our tenants on our property management division, by renovating our rental properties.  We began our journey into new construction, which firmly rooted our focus in the field of residential homes in what was then viewed as “up-coming”, city neighborhoods such as Roscoe Village, Edgewater, West Lakeview and Bucktown.

After 17 years, we remain exuberantly proud of our very first project. Cobblestone was selected as one of two general contractors to join a hand- selected team to build the Robert Sessions Home (located at Loomis and Harrison) for Rush Presbyterian Hospital; a prestigious custom home which serves as a private residence to Rush Hospital Presidents, past, present and future, and for the hosting of events to promote the ever expanding works of this renowned medical facility.

Since 1995, Cobblestone Development Inc. has been operating as a professional property management  and construction company throughout this energetic city and has successfully provided hundreds of residents their unique place to call home. Our rental properties are located in some of the most popular and exciting areas of the city: Lakeview, West Lakeview, Wrigleyville, Roscoe Village, Ukrainian Village, Irving Park, and Albany Park. As the city has evolved, so has Cobblestone by becoming more attentive and responsive to its tenants’ needs.

The properties managed by us are predominantly located in the city’s north side with an abundance of conveniences in close proximity. We pride ourselves in the ability to match people with their perfect home and to keep them content for years, often cultivating a long term relationships, an infrequent concept in a fast pace urban environment.

Perhaps we are unique in that our policy has always been to develop and maintain relationships with our tenants by being personally and directly available to them, whether this means having our office doors open 6-days a week or that we take the initiative to make periodic site visits to all our properties.
